Muir Creek Beach

Located just west of Sooke, offers a peaceful walk through a meadow before reaching a picturesque coastline with sandy beaches, driftwood, and clear waters. Visitors can explore remnants of the area's logging history and fossil-rich cliffs, with occasional whale bone discoveries. Seals are often seen sunning on the rocks, and a swing offers a tranquil spot to enjoy the ocean sounds. A 5.5 km return hike to Kirby Creek is available, but be cautious during high tide.
